Rachel Faught-CFM_8132.jpg
  • Rachel Faught, DNP received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from The Evergreen State College, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Duke University, and a Master of Science in Nursing at Frontier Nursing University where she is currently enrolled in a doctorate program.

Rachel worked in emergency nursing for 7 years. “I love emergency and trauma medicine, but I decided to become a nurse practitioner because my true passion is patient education. My experience in the emergency department has shown me that people who understand their condition are more likely to follow through with treatments and gain control of their health. Education is remarkably empowering.”

Rachel was born in the Pacific Northwest but being part of an active duty Army family, they have travel extensively.  Rachel, her husband and three boys will be taking advantage of the many outdoors activities like: hunting, hiking, camping, and whitewater rafting. While the boys may enjoy adventuring, as Rachel says, “I enjoy being outside too, but more like toes in the sand and an umbrella in my drink, not hiking Mt Rainier.”

Kim Ware, ARNP: A Pillar of Patient-Centered Care

Kim Ware, ARNP, is an integral member of the Prompt Care Walk In Clinic team. With an impressive array of expertise and a passion for patient care, Kim continues to make a lasting impact on our community. Here’s a chance to get to know her a bit better.

    Inspiration Behind the Scrubs
Kim’s journey into healthcare was sparked by a love for the intricacies of medical science. She recalls, “I enjoyed learning about the science in medicine and yearned to make a tangible difference in people's lives.”

    Passion for Patient Care
When asked about her favorite part of the job, Kim emphasizes the multifaceted nature of patient interactions. Whether it’s providing effective medications, exploring innovative treatments, or simply being a compassionate listener, her ultimate goal remains the same: improving patients’ quality of life.

    Breadth of Expertise
Kim boasts a rich background in multiple areas of medicine. From the complexities of transplant surgeries involving the heart, lungs, liver, kidney, and pancreas to the use of LVAD for heart failure, her range of skills is extensive. She has worked in various ICU care settings—medical, surgical, cardiac, and oncology—and holds a special fondness for cardiac and transplant specialties.

    Journey in Education
Kim’s educational path is as diverse as her clinical expertise. She earned her BSN from Delta State University in Cleveland, MS, home to the unique mascot, the Fighting Okra. She later completed her MSN at Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA.

    Diverse Experience in Healthcare
In the dynamic world of healthcare, Kim has consistently demonstrated commitment and skill. She served as an RN for 9 years—including time as a travel ICU nurse—before transitioning to her role as an ARNP. Since then, she’s continued to refine her practice, contributing significantly to the clinic’s patient care services.

    Kim’s Hope for Every Patient
Kim’s philosophy is simple: every patient should leave feeling they’ve received exceptional care. This unwavering commitment to excellence continues to drive her approach to medicine at Prompt Care.

    Beyond the Clinic
Outside of work, Kim is an avid adventurer. Whether she’s tackling CrossFit with her husband, discovering new hiking trails, exploring far-flung destinations, or engaging in craft projects with her Cricut machine, her zest for life shines through in everything she does.
